LeWeb Paris 2012 is Over, but the Internet of Things Lives On
And so ends LeWeb Paris 2012, leaving the brains of thousands of entrepreneurs at the event, and millions watching online, buzzing with inspiration to snag a piece of the internet of things revolution.
We watched entrepreneurs take the stage and show us products that we dreamed about as kids. We saw experienced CEOs show us how to build a real internet of things business.
We saw big announcements, like the launch of the Nokia Lumia 620 and Kevin Systrom's comments on Instagram's decision to stop allowing Twitter to display in stream photos from Instagram.
If you missed any of it, don't you worry. Everything is on our YouTube channel in HD:
Check out all the photos taken by our official photographers and all the photos taken by the community.
We're so honored to have so many truly talented entrepreneurs from all over the world join us for LeWeb. Next up is LeWeb London in June. LeWeb is a unique event that draws different tech communities, but will always have the same high standards for speakers, attendees and the event as a whole. We hope to see you there!
If you have any feedback on our events, and want to stay connected with the LeWeb community, you can join in on our Facebook page, Twitter and Google+.
See you next time in London. Au revoir!

Data Platform Qunb Wins the Startup Competition at LeWeb Paris 2012
Today in the LeWeb Paris Startup Competition, the three finalists demod their companies to the world on the main stage and answered tough questions from the panel of judges.
For the first time in the history of LeWeb, all three startups were French companies.
After much deliberation, the judges have made their decision.
And the winners are...
First place is Qunb - the one-stop shop for figures. Search, store and play with any quantitative data: sports, finance, market research and more.
Second place is Be-Bound - an application for mobile devices that is designed to allow everyone to stay connected to the Internet on their smartphones at the best price, using 2G networks.
Third place is Recommend - quick access to the recommendations you need.
Check back on http://youtube.com/leweb where we'll upload the recording of the whole competition very soon.
Thanks to all of the startups who competed in the Startup Competition and to everyone who shared and supported their favorite startups online.
We'd also like to thank the startup competition judges:

Kevin Systrom Discusses Why Instagram Disabled its Twitter Cards Integration
On day 2 at LeWeb Paris 2012, Kevin Systrom addressed the announcement that Instagram is no longer using the twitter card integration that allows twitter to display instagram photos in users' streams.
You can watch the announcement on YouTube here.
Systrom explained the move saying, "Just recently we launched web profiles and revamped all of our web properties..." "We wanted to make sure to direct users to where the content lives originally, to make sure that users on instagram get the full experience of instagram."
He also said that they still have a healthy relationship with Twitter.
"We will always always be integrated with twitter in the way that you can tweet out a photo from Instagram to twitter", said Systrom.
There's speculation that the move was retribution for twitter shutting off their follow graph, preventing Instagram from allowing users to find their friends on Instagram by logging into twitter but Systrom insisted that this isn't the case.
View more photos from Kevin's talk on flickr here.
